With over fifteen thousand Poles living in the Cork area Polish Eire festival was founded in 2019 by Katarzyna Tesiorowska and Peter Kidney . The festival is held in June every year in Cobh co Cork. The festival celebrates Polish culture and traditions.  Not only Polish people living in Cork and the surrounding area but also has a large Irish audience who come every year to participate in the festival. There is , reinactment with a Slavic village , over 20 stalls selling handmade crafts jewellery and  Polish jazz. Reggae, and traditional Polish music and dance. Polish food is available with favorites like golabki (stuffed cabbage rolls) pajda ze smalcem (bread with pork spread) kielbasa z grilla (grilled sausage) and bigos (hunters stew) Not only does the festival attract the Polish and Eastern Europeans but in recent years there are many Iocal and international tourists . 
Since its inception the Polish ambassador her excellence Anna Sochańska has opened the festival for which we are very grateful. 
The festival is supported of Cork County Council and The embassy of Poland.
